This painting appeared OUT OF NOWHERE. I was TRYING OUT a new brush And LOOKING FOR SOMETHING IN the SpLATTER APPROACH that I WAS WORKING WITH. SUDDENLY, the face came through. As if it was a transmission from SOMEWHERE ELSE. ANOTHER TIME. ANOTHER PLACE. I sat staring at it for a long time afterwards in disbelief. It hung on the wall for days while I came to terms with what had happened in that moment and with two more images that followed. “In Their Image” and “A Seed In The Waves”. All three became part of the exhibit ‘Fürst Art Show” 2023.

This image BECAME THE FACE of the ‘Fürst Art Show’ exhibition, and Amazingly, sold to a new collector within 20 minutes of the gathering starting on opening night. The original is acrylic on paper at 16” x 20”.
